    A worker who sold the old ammunition from the DIG office is arrested

    The Anuradhapura Police has arrested a worker of the DIG office who stole some old ammunition and magazines that were piled up in the DIG office of Anuradhapura and sold them to a scrap iron shop.

    Anuradhapura Police say that 03 magazines and 54 T56 ammunitions have been sold like this.

    These three ammunitions and magazines were sold in brass weights for Rs.230.

    Due to suspicions about this, an investigation was conducted, and the suspect was arrested according to a complaint made by the iron shop owner to the police.
