When a person was seriously injured after being hit by a lorry, the police found the dead body in a paddy field in a deserted area.
The accident took place in Kadawatha and the dead body was found near a field near Meenkenda temple in the Ragama police domain. That was yesterday morning.
A 50-year-old resident of Kadavatha, Imbulgoda has suffered this unfortunate death.
The police say that investigations are currently underway to identify the lorry involved in the accident.
