The National Disaster Management Center has warned about landslides, large rockfalls and tree falls in 8 districts due to heavy rains and strong winds that have affected many parts of the island.
This warning has been issued to be valid this afternoon as well as tomorrow (20) till 04.00 pm.
Accordingly, the people in the named areas of the following districts have been warned that they should be more alert and should evacuate immediately if they see any danger signs.
