The Ceylon Electricity Board says that it will take about 12 days to restart the third generator of the Norochcholai power plant, which has broken down.
Its general manager Mr. Rohan Seneviratne said that the generator broke down due to the explosion of the water pipe in the boiler.
The general manager stated that due to the high heat in the machine, it is not possible to repair it.
However, the Ceylon Electricity Board states that there will be no power cuts due to this.
This is good news that they will repair it in 12 days without putting it off for mid April as said before, we like when fepartments become pro active, keep it up. This is success to building a great Country. I salute yoy GM of electricity board, well done.
