Air ticket prices have been reduced by 20%.
It has been decided to reduce these prices in proportion to the fall in the value of the US dollar.
The Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Mr. Nimal Siripala de Silva stated this in a special discussion with the representatives of various aviation organizations operating in Sri Lanka.
The minister revealed that it is planned to further reduce the price of air tickets in the future.
It was mentioned in the discussions that the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka is gradually decreasing, and due to this, a more favorable environment will be created for the increase in the number of tourists coming to this country.
It was also revealed in the discussion that 7 new passenger airlines are scheduled to come to the island in the near future.
More loans more debts extended to next generation. It’s not happy news.
