It has been decided to submit the budget for next year to the Parliament on November 14.
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena chaired the Committee on Parliamentary Affairs which met yesterday (27).
Accordingly, the debate on the second reading of the budget is scheduled to be held from the 15th to the 22nd of November.
It was decided in today’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee that the second reading of the budget will be held on the afternoon of November 22nd.
The budget committee debate is scheduled to be held from November 23 to December 8.
The poll on the third reading of the budget will be held on the afternoon of December 8.
