Chairman of Litro Gas Vijitha Herath says that the stocks of gas obtained from SiamGas company of Thailand will arrive in Sri Lanka within the next two weeks.
Cabinet approval has been granted to purchase gas from SiamGas Company of Thailand, which they will supply gas for one year.
The new agreement will reduce shipping, service charges and insurance premiums by 10%, he said.
He also said that a price formula for Litro gas will be introduced in the future.
Its purpose is to provide relief to the people when world market gas prices fluctuate.
