Two ships carrying 7,200 metric tons of gas are scheduled to arrive on the island this week, Litro said.
Its chairman Vijitha Herath said that a ship carrying 3600 metric tons of gas is scheduled to reach the island tomorrow.
He further stated that the stock of gas will be released to the market from the day after tomorrow.
He added that his company is losing around Rs. 250 million daily due to releasing gas cylinders to the market at a low price.
