Several rounds of discussions on current issues were held this morning (16) under the patronage of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Minister of Finance Ali Sabri, Governor of the Central Bank Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Minister of State Shehan Semasinghe, Secretary to the President Gamini Senarath, Chief Adviser to the President Lalith Weeratunga, and Secretary to the Ministry of Finance K. M. M. Siriwardena were present at the first discussion.
Another discussion was held with officials from the Ministries of Finance, Energy and Health.
