The Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) has decided not to support the no-confidence motion to be tabled by the Samagi Jana Balawewa against the government.
The party hopes to abstain from voting on the resolution, party chairman Maradapandi Rameshwaran said.
There are currently two Members of Parliament representing the Ceylon Workers Congress. They are Maradapandi Rameshwaran and Jeewan Thondaman.
Both of them are now independent MPs.
