The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) says they have received 33 proposals, including a total investment of about US $ 1812 million in the first quarter of this year.
Among those investments are projects such as fuel and renewable energy, industrial supplies, and IT infrastructure, the BOI said.
The Board also said that the amount of investment received in the first quarter of this year was 80% higher than the amount received in 2021.
The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) says that despite the impact of the epidemic and the volatile economic situation, more and more investment opportunities are flowing to Sri Lanka as a result of their efforts to attract new investment facilities and expand projects.
