The Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply to several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 24 hours.
That was due to a sudden breakdown in a water supply pipeline.
The water cut will be imposed in Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, Colombo 05, Colombo 06, Battaramulla, Pelawatta, Udumulla and Himbutana.
The Water Supply and Drainage Board states that the water cut will be effective in those areas for 24 hours from now.
The Water Supply and Drainage Board states that water will be supplied to the Colombo 04 area under reduced pressure.
