The Department of the Commissioner of Examinations says that an expert committee will be appointed to investigate the problematic situation that happened regarding the aesthetic subjects of the ongoing GCE Advanced Level examination 2021.
Examinations General Mr. L.M.D. Dharmasena states that it has been reported that students at two examination centers had problems while distributing the question papers related to the art subject on the 9th.
He also stated that these problems have arisen at the examination centers held at Baddegama Christchurch Boys’ College, Galle and Thakshila College, Gampaha.
It was alleged that an art question paper given to the students at the examination center of Baddegama Christian College had been obtained from the students before the scheduled time and the second part of the art question paper had not been given to the students at Thakshila Vidyalaya, Gampaha.
Commissioner General of Examinations L.M.D. Mr. Dharmasena further said that the expert committee will be consulted to do justice to the students who have faced the problem.
