The Special Commodity Levy on imported potatoes and big onions (Bombay onions) has been reduced by Rs. 30 per kilogram with effect from midnight today (01).
For this purpose, Gazette Notification No. 2260/72 dated 31.12.2021 has been published under Section 2 of the Special Excise Act No. 48 of 2007.
These steps have been taken on the instructions of the President and with the approval of the Minister of Finance.
