Gemunu Wijeratne, President of the Private Bus Owners’ Association says that the bus fares should be increased from January 1.
Accordingly, the minimum fee should be Rs. 20, said Wijeratne.
He said that the proposal will be forwarded to the National Transport Commission and the Ministry of Transport next week.
