The Ceylon Principals’ Association states that they refuse to send applications for the GCE Advanced Level and Scholarship examinations to the Examinations Department as the principals are engaged in a trade union action.
Secretary of the Ceylon Principals’ Association Piyasiri Fernando said that no action will be taken until the salary issue of teachers and principals is resolved.
Mr. Piyasiri Fernando said that although the Secretary of Education had instructed them to send examination applications, such a thing will not happen.
