State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera has also been diagnosed with COVID. The Minister says that he too has been identified as an infected person during a PCR test conducted after the quarantine.
“Post-quarantine PCR tests have confirmed that I have been infected with COVID. I believe many people on duty are safe because they have acted on health recommendations over the past few days. However, I urge all those close contacts to get a PCR or Antigen test. Let’s all unite and get rid of the Covid plague, ”he said.
