An emergency meeting of party leaders has been convened in Parliament next Monday (16).
It will be held under the patronage of the Speaker at the request of the Leader of the House, Minister of External Affairs Dinesh Gunawardena.
Dinesh Gunawardena stated that he, as the Leader of the House, had proposed to convene an emergency meeting of the party leaders in view of the current COVID-19 epidemic situation.
It was decided at the previous meeting of the party leaders to convene the parliament from next Tuesday (17) to Friday.
