President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa visited the Viharamahadevi Park in Colombo last night where a 24-hour Kovid Vaccination Center has been set up.
Another 24-hour vaccination center has also been set up at Diyatha Uyana, Battaramulla.
Sri Lanka has accelerated its vaccination drive, surpassing even the world’s most powerful countries, according to global Kovid data.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also praised it yesterday.
