The Attorney General has informed the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today that MP Rishad Bathiudeen will also be made a suspect in the future, in connection with the death of a 16 year old housemaid and for the human trafficking in his house.
All the suspects, including the wife of MP Rishad Bathiudeen, were being questioned in police custody and have been remanded until August 09 after being produced before court today.
They have been remanded in connection with the investigation on the death of minor girl who was working as a servant in the MP’s house.
The magistrate also ordered to take the girl’s body for autopsy and conduct the post mortem.
