The Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa has also participated in a discussion chaired by the Minister of Justice Ali Sabri today (12) regarding the compensation for the damage caused by the fire on the Express Pearl.
Ports Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Minister of Fisheries and Multi-Day Fisheries Kanchana Wijesekera are also participating in the meeting.
Ports Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena extended an open invitation to Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa in Parliament last week saying that there is a meeting every day of the week chaired by Ali Sabri to discuss on the Express Pearl ship fire and to participate in it for a new political trend. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa accepted the invitation and stated in Parliament that he would definitely attend the meeting from this week.
