State Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Mr. Rohana Dissanayake says that a proposal will be submitted to the government to prepare a program to sterilize Rilewas (Toque Monkeys).
The Minister of State says that this proposal is being presented with the aim of finding a solution to the ‘Rila’ problem which is getting worse day by day.
He mentioned that the menace of Toque Monkeys has become as much of a terrorist problem.
Rilas should be sent to Diyawanna and Diyawanna+1 should be sterilised and release to the wild
