Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says that the proposal related to providing compensation for agricultural lands damaged due to drought will be submitted to the cabinet next week.
The minister points out that yesterday (14) he presented the matter orally to the cabinet.
The Minister of Agriculture mentioned that compensation is expected for the farmlands that have been completely and partially damaged due to the dry weather.
