State Minister for Finance Dr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that the proposed domestic debt restructuring proposals will be submitted to the Finance Committee of the Parliament today (29) for approval.
He said that a special meeting of the Parliament’s Finance Committee is scheduled to be held today at 2:00 PM in the Parliament.
Meanwhile, the State Minister of Finance mentions that the party leaders were informed about the debt restructuring proposals last night (28).
The announcement was made by the President, Finance Ministry officials and Central Bank officials.
