A 19-year-old soldier working at Minneriya Army Camp was arrested yesterday.
This soldier is a resident of Kurundangama, Mihinthalawa Road, Anuradhapura.
Investigations have revealed that this student had a romantic relationship with the army soldier through Facebook where she exchanged videos and photos. It is stated that he has threatened her stating that those videos and photographs will be made public.
She has complained about this to the police on the 7th. Accordingly, he has been arrested by the police.
