A special meeting of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) will be held in Parliament on the 22nd.
In the face of the covid-19 challenge, COPE meetings will also be held online on zoom platform.
Accordingly, only the Chairman and the Accountant of the relevant Government Institutions as well as the Secretary of the relevant Ministry of the relevant State Institutions will be summoned to the Committee and other officers will be contacted online.
This meeting is for the Committee Members of the COPE Committee and will review the institutions mentioned in the two reports submitted to the 9th Parliament so far and the steps taken to implement the recommendations made to those institutions.
COPE Chairman Prof. Charitha Herath said that they also hope to decide which institutions will be called to the COPE Committee in the future.
