Police have arrested two Kolonnawa Municipal Council members.
It is related to a case of stealing a machine from the Meethotamulla warehouse belonging to the Paddy Marketing Board.
The arrested persons are aged 50 and 52.
They are due to be produced before the Colombo Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today (16).
The two persons who bought and transported the machine have been arrested and remanded after being produced in court.
