Sri Lanka Freedom Party Secretary General, Member of Parliament Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara says that in the upcoming local government elections, the Sri Lanka Freedom Party hopes to contest under the ‘Atha’ symbol in the northern and eastern provinces and as the United People’s Freedom Alliance or another alliance in the rest of the provinces.
He mentions that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party hopes to compete in an alliance that brings together all left-wing and progressive political forces.
Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara revealed that discussions have already been held with the Supreme Lanka Coalition chaired by Mr. Wimal Weerawansa, the Freedom People’s Congress represented by Mr. Dallas Alahapperuma, and with 27 other political parties.
He said that he hopes to conclude these negotiations in the next few days and build a huge political alliance in Sri Lanka and that there will be no negotiations with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya.
Whatever, allowed by the PUCSL, could be tolerable and acceptable . Non other wanton schedules.
However it is higher than the usual that was between 2015- 2019…..it was tolerable.
