It is reported that the upcoming electricity tariff revision is proposed to increase the tariff charged per unit of electricity and the fixed charges.
It is stated that the related proposal will be submitted to the Cabinet on January 2.
Under that, it is reported that it is proposed to increase the fee spent on the production of a unit of electricity which is currently Rs. 29.14 to Rs. 48.42.
