The Elections Commission states that information on the voter registration information required for the completion of applications for admission to the first grade of government schools for the year 2022 can be obtained from the Grama Niladhari.
Accordingly, the Grama Niladhari has the voter registration information for the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 required for the admission of students to the first grade in the government schools for the year 2022 and that it can also be obtained by accessing the website of the Election Commission at www.elections.gov.lk using internet facilities, the Elections Commission says.
The Elections Commission says that once the voter registration information required for the admission of students to schools has been obtained, it does not need to be certified by the Grama Niladhari or any other official and can be directly sent to the principals along with the applications.
