Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Health Professionals Scholars Association, said that despite the widespread dengue disease, most of government hospitals do not have dengue detection reagent kits.
Mr. Kumudesh also said that due to the lack of reagent kits for conducting dengue antigen tests in hospitals, patients and health staff are in trouble.
Mr. Kumudesh also said that due to non-payment of loans due for reagents, the companies supplying reagents have stopped providing reagents to the Ministry of Health.
