Dubai Police has released Nadun Chinnaka, aka Harakkata, who was in the custody of Dubai Police.
The root cause of this is the failure of the authorities in this country to forward the criminal file against Harakkata to Dubai on time.
The police information revealed that the criminal file is still on the table of the Ministry of Defense. The Criminal Investigation Department personally handed over the file to the Secretary of the Ministry of State Defense on the 18th. The Ministry of Defense should have forwarded it to the Ministry of External Affairs immediately, but it did not happen.
