The Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Local Government and Provincial Councils, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, and the Secretary of the Ministry have given instructions to provide relief to the problems faced by the people due to the heavy rains in the country.
Accordingly, the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Mr. Priyantha Mayadunne issued the necessary instructions to all the district secretaries of the island to prepare in advance for a disaster situation and provide necessary relief to the people.
