    President visited Jackson Anthony to inquire about his health

    President Ranil Wickramasinghe visited the Colombo National Hospital this morning (19) to check on the well-being of actor, cinematographer and historian Mr. Jackson Anthony, who was seriously injured in an accident in Anuradhapura recently.

    The President went to the hospital room where Mr. Jackson Anthony is undergoing treatment and inquired about his treatment and also inquired about it with the doctors.

    Then President Ranil Wickramasinghe met with the hospital director and inquired about the medicines needed by other patients and the medicines that are currently in short supply.

    The President emphasized that steps will be taken to provide the shortage of drugs promptly and that he has a great responsibility for the lives of patients affected by the shortage of drugs across the country.

    After that Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, who met Mr. Jackson Anthony’s wife, wished Mr. Anthony a speedy recovery and requested that he be informed immediately if there is any help regarding the future treatment.

    Mr. Wickramasinghe told the relatives of the family that as religious and spiritual blessings are very important as well as medical treatment, and asked to organize a religious program for Mr. Anthony.

    The President who came out of the hospital did not forget to inquire about the well-being of the patients who came for treatment.

    1. Regarding the shortage drugs Matters once he came out from hospital Ranil will forget.
      Responsible Hospital director and hospital secretary globally Sri Lankan embassies request to them shortage drug and medical equipments ASAP may receive because all are donations.
      Our peoples never involved without commission regarding this, what to do disaster to our country.

    2. Need to change for better.. By being positive.. Blames alone would not do anything.. Everybody should involve and do their duty right.. Things will then change for better
