Yesterday, three suspects were arrested in Kandy by the Criminal Investigation Department for setting fire to the house of Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.
The suspects are residents of Mulgampala and Kandy. They are 25, 29, and 32 years old.
After the attack on the Galle Face protest site on May 9, Keheliya Rambukwella was attacked and set fire to the minister’s house in the wake of the nationwide unrest.
So far, 17 people have been arrested in connection with the attack on the house of Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.
