    A team of archeology officials to the President’s Palace today

    A group of officials from the Department of Archeology has arrived the Presidential Palace today (12) to find out whether the properties with archaeological value in the Presidential Palace, which were seized by the protesters, have been damaged.

    It is reported that a group of officials including the Director General of Archeology Mr. Anura Manatunga will observe the Presidential Palace and discuss with the youth groups there.

    Protesters are still staying at Fort President House, Presidential Secretariat and Temple House since last Saturday.

    According to the report, some people visiting these places have damaged the property.
