The Leader of the Parliament, Minister of State Administration, Home Affairs, Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena visited the Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka this morning (12) and expressed his condolences on the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Mr. Hideaki Misukoshi also joined the Leader of the House, Minister Dinesh Gunawardena when the condolence note was made.
The Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government has declared July 12, 2022 as a day of national mourning for the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Shinzo Abe, the former Prime Minister of Japan, lost his life on (08) due to a gun attack while giving a speech in Nara, Japan.
