A team from the International Monetary Fund is due to arrive in Sri Lanka within tomorrow (20) to 30th of this month.
That is to continue discussions with the Sri Lankan authorities to reach a staff level agreement.
Based on the progress achieved in online discussions from May 9 to 24 May, it has also been said that discussions on an economic program that can support through the IMF loan program is also continued.
The officials have said that they are committed to support Sri Lanka in accordance with the International Monetary Fund policies in this critical moment.
