Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to China Dr. Palitha Kohona says that the amount of debt owed to China is less than 10% of Sri Lanka’s total foreign debt.
The ambassador said this in an interview with CGTN.
He also said that blaming China’s debt trap for Sri Lanka’s financial crisis is baseless.
