The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has taken steps to restrict the release of fuel with effect from 1 pm today (15).
Accordingly, the fuel is released,
Only up to Rs.1000 for motorcycles,
Only up to Rs. 1500 for three-wheelers,
Only up to Rs. 5,000 for cars, vans, and jeeps, both petrol and diesel.
This limit does not apply to buses, lorries, and vehicles & tractors used for commercial purposes.
