The Department of Motor Traffic has taken steps to extend the validity of driving licenses which will expire from April to September.
Accordingly, it has been decided to extend the validity period of the driving licenses which will expire from April 01 to June 30 by 06 months and the validity of driving licenses that expire from July 01 to September 30 will be extended by three months.
Due to the Covid epidemic, the validity of driving licenses has been extended on several previous occasions. The Department of Motor Traffic also states that if the validity period of these licenses expires during this period, they will also be extended.
The Department of Motor Vehicles states that a new one-year license will also be issued by post to temporary drivers’ licenses that have already been issued and the relevant cards will be printed and sent to the homes of the drivers once the printing of cards is restored.
