The Ministry of Public Defense states that the process of sending a ticket to the home of the drivers who are reckless and unsafe on the roads will commence soon in this country.
Accordingly, the Minister of Public Defense has recently inspected the close-up surveillance division which covers 33 lanes covering the city of Colombo.
It is said that attention has been paid in this regard.
Protection of the people and property being the main objective of this division will work to eliminate the possibility of crime, monitor and take action on a crime, and participate in the investigation of crimes.
The Ministry of Public Security said in a statement that the Department of Motor Traffic and the Attorney General’s Department will soon send a ticket to the home of the unsafe drivers.
