From this year onwards, every student admitted to universities will have the opportunity to study technology, said the Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena.
The Minister of Education said that students who have not opted for the subject of Technology at the University will also be given the facility to study the subject of Technology as an additional subject.
The Minister of Education said that after the Industrial Revolution, a technological revolution has taken place today and it is essential to study the subject of technology and all universities will be facilitated to do so.
This was stated by the Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena at the inaugural ceremony of the establishment of 1000 National Schools at Siyambalanduwa Maha Vidyalaya, Moneragala.
