A Brazilian woman wanted by Interpol has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.
The 23-year-old suspect was issued a red notice by INTERPOL.
This red notice was issued due to her involvement in drug trafficking.
It is reported that she has tried to come to Sri Lanka from Thailand.
She was arrested this morning and is due to be deported.
