Colombo Wrestling Association President Niroshan Perera has been summoned as a witness to the Sports Fraud and Corruption Investigation Unit in connection with the investigation into the Vice President of the Sri Lanka Wrestling Federation who went to Norway to take part in a wrestling tournament and fled with the players’ money.
He is currently appearing before the unit at the Sugathadasa Sports Complex.
Mr. Niroshan had warned the authorities in advance that the group heading to Norway was preparing to flee the country and this evidence has led to the acquisition.
Mr. Niroshana said that he is going to reveal many facts about the Sri Lanka Wrestling Federation today.
