Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was felicitated by a large crowd of people near his hotel in Bologna, Italy, a statement from his office said.
Many gathered near the hotel premises yesterday (12th September) to watch and greet the Prime Minister leaving to join the G20 Interfaith Forum.
The Prime Minister extended his greetings to the people and expressed his gratitude to everyone.
The Prime Minister addressed the inaugural session of the G20 Interfaith Forum yesterday afternoon and the forum will continue until today.
