Popular musician Iraj Weeraratne has resigned from the post of National Youth Services Council.
Weeraratne was appointed a member of the Council of Directors for a period of 3 years from 18 August 2020.
He has sent a letter to Youth Affairs Minister Namal Rajapaksa announcing his resignation.
Iraj Weeraratne has stated that the reason for his resignation was that he had decided to resign from his post as he had to contribute to unavoidable previous activities.
