Lalith Pintu, a powerful underworld criminal who clashed with the police task force at Baseline Lane, Seeduwa has been died this morning.
When a suspicious luxury car was ordered to be stopped by the STF a person in the car got out and shot at the STF. The STF refired. The man died after being hospitalized with injuries, police said.
It was later revealed that the person was Lalith Pintu. The Police Special Task Force (STF) has identified the suspect was involved in a number of crimes including robbery and murder with Makandure Madush. It has not been less than a month since the man was released on bail.
