Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Namal Rajapaksa says that the discussion between President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officials scheduled to be held today has been postponed.
The discussion will focus on the short-term and long-term strategies for the development of cricket from the school to the national level as well as the future plan needs for the development of the sport.
The discussion between the President and the Sri Lanka Cricket officials was to be held with the participation of the Cricket Committee.
Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa has assured that the President and the Prime Minister are working with the Ministry of Sports to uplift the standard of cricket.
