China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs officials said that measures will be taken to improve the yield and quality of soybean and oilseed crops this year.
The newly added cultivation land for those crops will exceed 1650000 acres.
These facts were revealed at a press conference on China’s first quarter agricultural and rural economic performance.
It was conducted by the Chinese State Information Office yesterday (20).
China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will also work to improve large-scale unit yields for major grains and oilseeds this year.
Under this, attention will be given to 100 major corrals where soybeans are grown.
Accordingly, the expected target is to increase soybean yield by 30 kg per acre this year.
